Chana Masala Mangal 100g
A chickpea spice mix.
Required ingredients: chick peas 250 gm, oil/ghee 4 tbsp, mangal chana masala 4 tbsp, medium size onions 2 -chopped.
Method: Soak chick peas for 4 hrs preferably overnight, cook and keep them aside. Heat ghee/oil in a deep pan. Fry onions till they turn light brown, add mangal chana masala and salt to taste. Add cooked peas and simmer for a few minutes. Serve hot with freshly chopped coriander leaves, tomato & lemon slices. For paneer chole add 100 gm of paneer (cottage cheese).
Ingredients: Coriander, cumin, red chillies, pomegranate seeds, mango powder, big cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaves, salt.
