Pavbhaji is a very slow cooked mixed vegetable dish. This spice mixture will help you bring the perfect seasoning to the dish. Contains red chilli, coriander, cumin, cassia, ginger, cloves, black pepper, bay leaves, caraway, mango powder, star anise and salt.
Ingredients: Potatoes (500g), cauliflower (100g), capsicum (50g), tomato (100g), green peas (100g), onion (50g), garlic paste (2 tsp), ginger paste (1 tsp), chilli powder (if required extra spicy Pav Bhaji)
Method: 1. Boil all the vegetables. 2. Heat butter on tava (pan) and mash all the boiled vegetables. 3. Add onions, capsicum, ginger, garlic paste. 4. SautŽ for a few minutes. 5. Add 4 tbsp of mangal pav bhaji with little water and keep on mashing the vegetables. 6. Serve hot decorated with fresh coriander leaves and bread rolls.
