Use this spice mixture to make the perfect sambhar soup. Ingredients: Coriander, chillies, cumin, fenugreek, mustard, black gram, gram, turmeric, curry leaves, salt, asafoetida.
Required: Toor dal (100g), tamarind (20g), drumsticks (100g), onions (50g), brinjal (50g), 4-5 curry leaves.
Method: 1. Boil dal and add vegetable pieces. 2. Add 2 tbsn of mangal sambar masala. 3. Cook till vegetables are tender. 4. Add tamarind, salt to taste and boil. 5. Heat 2 tbsn of oil and add red chilli, curry leaves, and pinch of hing. Add to cooked sambar. 6. Boil for 3 minutes and serve hot.
